Yellow Umbo originated from a multispore Texas Orange Cap grow in 2020, when cultivator Shroomery user “Atlas920” noticed several fruits with a vivid saffron hump—called an umbo—at the cap center. Successive agar transfers locked the phenotype, yielding a cubensis line that retains a sunny umbo while the rest of the cap matures caramel brown. Liquid Myco further refined the isolate for symmetrical caps, thick stems, and dependable sporulation. Every syringe carries first-generation isolated genetics produced under ISO-sterile HEPA filtration and guaranteed free of controlled compounds.
